Rural Investigations

Recently I've been walking and exploring my local area.  I live in a rural area, with mainly arable farming and a few sheep.

We  have a high population of pigeons and feral white doves, who also regularly interbreed, making for an interesting collection of shapes and colours.  We are also priviledged to have skylarks breeding in the fields, they give beautiful displays in the sky whilst singing their unique tune.

I love the feeling of freedom, the chattering of the birds, the rustling of the wind in the trees and ruffling my hair.  I feel at peace with myself and the world.

Perhaps you can share my excitement and bring a little of my enjoyment into your home with one of my paintings .
